# General Rules

### 1. Age Requirement

You must meet the server’s age requirement to maintain access to The Woods WL. Any exceptions are handled by staff and are not guaranteed.

### <mark style="color:purple;">2. Clip Requirements for Reports</mark>

All reports must include a **minimum 2-minute clip**. If it is under 2 minutes, it will not be reviewed.

Clips must show full context and clearly identify everyone involved. Do not trim or edit footage to fit your side.

Reports should be recent. Old or delayed clips may be denied.

Respect is expected at all times, both in-game and out-of-character.

Harassment, discrimination, or targeted behavior toward any player will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the whitelist or worse.

Keep interactions clean. If you can’t handle situations without turning toxic, you don’t belong here.

### 4. Staff Authority

Staff have full authority over The Woods WL. If you are told to do something or stop something, you are expected to listen.

Failure to follow staff instructions or showing disrespect toward staff can result in immediate removal.

Staff may remove access at any time if your presence negatively impacts the environment.

### 5. Language Requirement

English is required in all shared or public roleplay to ensure clear communication between players.

### 6. Real-World Trading

Trading real-life money, items, or services for anything in-game is strictly prohibited.

This includes attempting to sell access, items, or advantages tied to The Woods WL.

### 7. Impersonation

Impersonating staff or another player with the intent to mislead or troll is not allowed.

### 8. Discord & OOC Conduct

Keep Discord and any out-of-character spaces respectful and drama-free.

Do not contact staff directly outside approved channels about reports or issues. Use proper systems instead of spamming or pressuring staff.

### 9. Poaching

Recruiting players from this server to other communities or projects is strictly prohibited.

### 10. Doxing & Personal Information

Sharing or attempting to obtain another player’s personal information is strictly prohibited.

This includes names, addresses, social media, or any private details—on any platform.

### 11. Ban Evasion

Attempting to bypass any punishment using alternate accounts, VPNs, or other methods is not allowed.

### 12. Punishment Privacy

Staff actions taken against other players are private and will not be discussed with anyone not directly involved.

### 13. Modifications

Only approved client-side modifications are allowed.

Any visual or gameplay changes that provide an advantage—such as removing props, improving visibility, or altering lighting—are strictly prohibited.

You are responsible for everything installed on your system. Even unused cheat-related files may result in punishment.

### 14. Controller Use

Controllers may not be used for combat in any form.

They are only allowed for non-combat actions such as driving or general movement.

### 15. Character Standards

Character names must be realistic and fit the environment.

Avoid parody, celebrity references, or anything that breaks immersion.

### 16. Voice Usage

Voice changers are allowed if they are clear and fit your character.

Hot-micing or constantly transmitting unnecessary noise is not allowed.

### 17. Metagaming & External Info

Metagaming is strictly prohibited.

You may not use Discord calls, streams, or any outside source to gain information for in-character use.

If your character didn’t learn it through roleplay, you cannot act on it.

### 18. Stream Sniping

Using someone’s stream or live content to locate or gain information about them in-game is not allowed.

This includes watching friends’ streams for advantages.

### 19. Enforcement

Breaking any of these rules may result in removal from The Woods WL, server punishment, or both.
